By Christmas Day
" By Christmas Day "
There's this jolly old man at the old North Pole
He's the merry old soul that we know so well
He wears a funny red suit that's trimmed in white
A stocking cap and a black belt that's bright
He's the leader of a band of Good hearted elves
Who make toys for children just to amuse themselves
They make these toys and they make them right,
And they finish them all by Christmas night.
Then they pack them up and put them on a sleigh
So Santa can deliver them by Christmas Day.
Nine tiny reindeer pull this sleigh,
And pulling this sleigh to them is play.
There's Dasher, Comet, Dancer, Blitzen, Cupid, Donner, Prancer, Vixen
And leading the pack with his nose so red,
Rudolph's shiny nose adds a light to the sled.
From house to house they pull that sleigh
And they do it all in just one day.
Up and down chimneys all night long,
Santa places toys while humming songs.
He delivers presents cause that's his way,
And he delivers all the presents by Christmas Day
